Policy & Financing Advocacy
Through the National Sickle Cell Convention and continuous engagements, we advocate for the development and implementation of policies that strengthen sickle cell disease care and promote sustainable, earmarked government funding.
Advocacy efforts are aligned with Uganda’s existing health and social policy frameworks, including the Health Sector Development Plan (HSDP), the National Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Strategy, and the National Sickle Cell Strategy.
